OK, so, new game time.

So, this is on another site Im on, and its so funny- I just had to see if it will be the same here.

You list a bunch of VERY odd things you have in your house, and people try to figure out which thing you really DONT have.
Any disputes have been settled by posting a pic of any object that people don't believe you actually couldn't possibly possess-but you do really HAVE. ALSO, to avoid finding pics on the net, and "claiming" that you took the pic, the doubter gets to request you put some everyday object in the pic with the item in doubt. Eg: "I don't believe you have a LIVE pet alligator- so when you take the pic- place a dollar bill beside the tank/alligator" And the person that has it, does just that- and then posts pic.
And you can't list anything that you can't PROVE ownership of by taking a pic of it. Eg: You can't say I have a REAL human skull- because you can't PROVE "real" in a pic, but you can say 'I have a human skull" as a pic CAN show that.
Get it? You can ONLY make statements of things that a picture can prove. (except for the one thing that you don't own)

You dont tell what the item IS that you DON'T have, UNTIL somebody guesses it.

***ONLY the person who GUESSES THE CORRECT item that you do not own- gets to start the next list of stuff, OR they can pass on the right to start a new list, to anyone who has guessed in past posts.(thus, if you don't have a camera, you can STILL play, and get somebody to list stuff that you think you could figure it out!)***

Shall we try?

1, I have a voodoo rattle
2, I have a live, black cat, as a pet
3, I have "Gandolf" guarding the door to my storage room
4, I have a salt water fish tank the length of a couch, in my living room that has deadly, poisonous fish inside of it.
5, I have a mid evil style dinning room table and chair set
6, I have a 4 foot spider on my ceiling
7, I have a huge Salvidor Dalli style clock on my wall
8, I have a wall full of backstage working passes from concerts/movies I have worked on
9, I own a Tarantula
10, I own a live Moray Ell

OK, what don't I actually own?
See just how well you know the other gamers on qss.
smile.gif
Nini

I don't believe that for a second!
EVERYONE has odd stuff!
Just because you find stuff the norm, doesn't mean others do.
(He!!, the dishes would have made a PERFECT one!)

Come on, make a list for us!

PLEEEEEAAASE?
Arnprior
I kinda like this game.
Wondering if someone else should step up and make a list...
TerriKhali
Well, Nini passed, go for it Arnprior, OR anyone else that wants to!

Come on guys, what you think of as 'just there' really is very unique to others... see if you can fool us!
Thumper
Ok, I'll make a list for ya.

1. I have a 20+ pound cat.
2. I have A 100 pound fish aquarium full of fish
3. I have about 30 cookie jars spread threw out my house on display
4. I have a tin man made out of coffee cans hanging on my wall
5. I have one room with nothing but wrestling related items and comic books and cards and magazines and action figures and other stuff that are all highly collectible ( room worth over $10.000)
6. I have a razor that belonged to Wild Bill Cody
7. I have one of Jesse James diaries, the real deal, as we are related
8. I have a 10 foot bong from my younger years stuck in my closet. (wouldn't have the lungs for it now)
9. I have the original movie poster ( framed ) from Gone With The Wind
10. I have a massive shot glass collection in my dinning room.

Well, what do you think? Only one of those things is fake. But I must say, it is something that is in my grasp and I do know some one who is going to give me this when the time is right. Most likely left in a will or something. So in essence, it will be mine someday!!!

If I read that correctly, than my guess goes to Number 7 - The Jesse James diaries. If you are related, then it's something you feel should be kept in the family, thus passed on to the next generation to make sure it won't be soiled by unworthy hands (like one of my ancester's wedding ring -- I got interested in Jewellery-making just so I'd be able to restore it myself and pass it on, instead of letting some sibbling I won't name here sell it cause he felt it better to make some quick cash out if it...).

Thumper
Nope, that's the real deal. My middle name is James because of it. Kind of cool to be named after him. My step-brother is named Jesse as well. The diary is kept locked up in our family safe, with a few other of his possessions such as guns, letters, a pocket watch and a few other items. I like the diary because it details the real person, and not what you see on TV or the movies. He was way different then what he is portrayed as in the movies and what not then he was in real life. He was actually a really nice guy who would give you the shirt off his back if he felt it would help you.

Try again?
Arnprior
Waited a while to let someone have a stab at it, for what the heck --
I'll go with Number 6 -- Wild Bill's blade.
Thumper
Nope, that's real as well. Did a bad thing when I was young....stole it from a museum here in Nebraska. Try again.

The Gone With the Wind Poster
TerriKhali
Yah, I say #9 too, "Gone With the Wind" movie poster... damn, that would be worth a HUGE fortune.

Also, Im calling you out on The Jesse James diaries and Razor.
Pics please biggrin.gif

I believe the 100 pound fish tank- thats only about 20 gallons, or less... My 180 weights just under a THOUSAND pounds when full of rock, and water- the tank itself empty weighs around 700 pounds! Its made is 1 1/2 inch thick glass!

Oh, hey, Did you know I was Mr. Brad Pitt's tailor for that movie- "The Assassination of Jesse James By the Coward Robert Ford"?
Yup, I was.
I have proof too. (I could always P.M. you that, but its nothing I would make openly public... biggrin.gif )
Thumper
QUOTE

100% true. I'd take pitchers but I don't have no way to at this time.

The Gone with the Wind poster was the right choice. I don't own it yet, but I will some day. My ex step Dad owns it, and it is real cool. He had it framed and promised it to me someday, most likely when he passes on.

That's cool about the movie TerriKhali, but that movie didn't do him much justice either, mostly Hollywood scribble. Good effort in the movie though. I don't think any movie will ever catch his true essence as Hollywood is more about fluff these days then the real deal.

Boy, sounds like you get to do a lot of cool stuff!!!

OK, some one Else's turn.
TerriKhali
Well, I'll wait for pics... but I wanna see them someday... and I wont let you forget either! tongue.gif
Thumper
Trust me, they are real. I wouldn't bullshit you. As soon as I can get photo's taken someday, I'll send you a PM and show them to you. I don't lie ( unless I have to protect something) as I despise it and can't stand a lier, so I wouldn't do that to another.
Arnprior
Terri, you go girl!
Tell him what's what!!! emoticon-0136-giggle.gif
(Can't beleive I made like 4 guesses and still guessed wrong...)
TerriKhali
Who's making the next list? Come on, SOMEBODY step up!
Arnprior
MyLady Terrikhali,
I'll be your Huckleberry!

1- I have the complete 1980s "Muppet Babies" McDonalds Happy Meal figurine set
2- I have a (somewhat used up) Honus Wagner T-206 replica card
3- I have an original 7-foot tall "Death to Smoochy" movie theatre banner
4- I have a pair of vintage 1960s CCM Tackaberry tube-mounted leather ice skates (still in use)
5- I have a pair of vintage 1970s ugly-brown Adidas Tobacco sneakers (too smelly to use...)
6- I have and still use an office-beige rotary telephone.
7- I have an original concept-art picture of Frankenstein's car from "Death Race" signed by Jason Statham
8- I have a vintage Victoriaville hockey stick autographed by Maurice Rocket Richard.
9- I have blueprints to the USS Enterprise (stop laughing!)
10- I have a still-in-use Super Nintendo game console (duck-hunting gun and all)

(NOTE: I work nights, so I won't be able to bring photo proof until morning...)
Thumper
I'll go with #9 just cause you made me laugh when you told me not to!!!
Arnprior
Dude...I feel even more embarrassed now...
I DO have the blueprints to the NCC-1701.
As noted, I can only post pics in about 9 hours, but until then, here's what the book-box it comes in looks like
Thumper
laugh.gif Don't sweat it. Star Trek rocks!!!! I'll go with #6 then. Do you really still use it if you have one?
Arnprior
I do use that rotary phone -- it has deep sentimental value. Although I have to unplug if I need to use my DSL internet connection instead of my cable modem... Apparently rotary phones are too noisy for a DSL link...

Two down, 8 to go.
Here is the list again

1- I have the complete 1980s "Muppet Babies" McDonalds Happy Meal figurine set
2- I have a (somewhat used up) Honus Wagner T-206 replica card
3- I have an original 7-foot tall "Death to Smoochy" movie theatre banner

7- I have an original concept-art picture of Frankenstein's car from "Death Race" signed by Jason Statham
8- I have a vintage Victoriaville hockey stick autographed by Maurice Rocket Richard.
9- I have blueprints to the USS Enterprise (stop laughing!)
10- I have a still-in-use Super Nintendo game console (duck-hunting gun and all)
Thumper
Man, I'm sucking on this one! I'll take a guess and go with.....#10, why not.
Arnprior
Well, you don't SUCK per se, but, yeah...you missed again. emoticon-0136-giggle.gif
Actually, it came with my relationship; I fiddled with it a few times, but I'm not the gamer in our household.

SO, 3 down, 7 to go.
Here, once again, is my list.

1- I have the complete 1980s "Muppet Babies" McDonalds Happy Meal figurine set
2- I have a (somewhat used up) Honus Wagner T-206 replica card
3- I have an original 7-foot tall "Death to Smoochy" movie theatre banner

8- I have a vintage Victoriaville hockey stick autographed by Maurice Rocket Richard.
9- I have blueprints to the USS Enterprise (stop laughing!)
10- I have a still-in-use Super Nintendo game console (duck-hunting gun and all)
TerriKhali
I call #3.... Why the hell would you have that? Everything else is so freeking COOL- WTF is Smootchy doing in your place?!?!?! (BTW, I worked on that one too! They did that in Toronto- what an interesting show that was!)
It has to be #3... its the only one that doesn't fit in that list.....

-but DAMN, if you DO have #7- I have an original concept-art picture of Frankenstein's car from "Death Race" signed by Jason Statham- You are now my idol! (And I'd LOVE to see a pic of that, just cause its uber cool!)
Arnprior
Terri - was that two guesses or just one??? emoticon-0112-wondering.gif

Number 3 - I DO have that. I was working in a movie theatre at the time and, long story short, I left in not so great terms, so I kinda avenged myself by "long-term borrowing" one of the movie banners. Someone had already beat me to Spiderman's, so I took Smoochy. Apparently, I'm one of the very microscopic group of people who actually liked that film...
(I thought It'd be obvious to boast having the one thing in that list that's virtually impossible to have...I'm a better liar than I thought...)

That's 4 down, 6 to go.
Here, once more, is my list.

1- I have the complete 1980s "Muppet Babies" McDonalds Happy Meal figurine set
2- I have a (somewhat used up) Honus Wagner T-206 replica card
3- I have an original 7-foot tall "Death to Smoochy" movie theatre banner

9- I have blueprints to the USS Enterprise (stop laughing!)
10- I have a still-in-use Super Nintendo game console (duck-hunting gun and all)
Thumper
Death to Smootchy was a funny movie!!! I'm going with #1 this time.

(hangs head in shame)
TerriKhali
Alright... #8.

I did some research, and this is now an EDUCATED PICK..... tongue.gif
Since his OLDTIMERS USED STICK. is on ebay now for C $1046.25, and rising, and its NOT a vintage Victoriaville hockey stick at all, but just a VINTAGE stick goes for stupid money too, either you have a VERY rare, almost imposable item there...or... your one freeking lucky guy....

(And no, it was ONE guess, and a comment about another item, thats all)

Your 5 remaining are:

2- I have a (somewhat used up) Honus Wagner T-206 replica card
(These sell for around $5 for the REPLICA'S, as you stated)

4- I have a pair of vintage 1960s CCM Tackaberry tube-mounted leather ice skates (still in use)
5- I have a pair of vintage 1970s ugly-brown Adidas Tobacco sneakers (too smelly to use...)

7- I have an original concept-art picture of Frankenstein's car from "Death Race" signed by Jason Statham
(Possable, and on the net)

8- I have a vintage Victoriaville hockey stick autographed by Maurice Rocket Richard.

Arnprior
GOD I'm gonna have a bunch of pictures to take an upload in the morning...
I do have the set, although it might not be complete anymore - my daughter found my "stash" a few months ago...

5 down, 5 to go.
Here, yet again, is my list.

10- I have a still-in-use Super Nintendo game console (duck-hunting gun and all)
Thumper
5, cause why would you keep smelly shoes? Should have made that me first pick.
TerriKhali
You REALLY have that stick huh?
I'm calling you out on that- thats...just...wow!

Thumper- we suck at this, and hes a good lair...note to self!
wink.gif
Thumper
I'm still hanging my head in shame!!!
Arnprior
Alright...Where were we?

Number 8 - Yes I have the stick. It was my dad's, he got Rocket to sign it eons ago and I inherited it. It's locked up in my basement alongside my old baseball mitt signed by The Kid (Garry Carter, for non-baseball fans, which by now I understand includes you guys...).

Number 5- Yes I have Tobaccoes. Again, my dad's. I kept them because vintage Tobaccoes (not the current ones) are quite rare, and were infamous for being made out of...hmm, I'll skip THAT explanation.

SO, 7 down, 3 to go.
If I get down to one, I'm taking my chances to skip paying my taxes this year! But Sir, I DID pay them, I swear!
Arnprior
Okay, so here's photographic proof of what's been guessed up till now.
In that picture you can clearly see my Super NES (the box, actually, didn't feel like unplugging the darn thing), a little jar that contains the Muppet Babies (aloongside a few Garfields), the controversial Victoriaville hockey stick complete with decrepit vintage tape (to be honest, I didn't know the stick alone was worth a lot, but the autograph itself is worth mucho dineros), the Smoochy banner (first time out in the daylight since being borrowed) and the infamous Rotariphonus Rex. All that's missing are the blueprints and the Tobaccoes, both of which will wait for my spouse to come back from work and fetch them from the attic cause I don't go there. There are spiders in there. Big ones. With legs and all.

So here again is my list

And just for the jest of it, here's my daughter who felt like being photographed too this morning...

Thumper
I'm going with 7 cause it was touched on but wasn't picked. Hope I'm right.

Arnprior, that has got to be one of the cutest little girls I've ever seen! She is so adorable!!!

You must be one proud papa! Kudos!! Your going to have your hands full when she reaches her teens I bet! I'd be waiting at the door with said bat in hand just so all her suitors someday would know, well, you know, don't mess with daddies little girl!

Yeah...who is it that said having a boy is better, cause you only have one d**k to worry about instead of a thousand...

Ahem, about #7,

That's 8 down, 2 to go...
Thumper
#2? Looks like you might just have to skip your taxes this year!!!
Arnprior

THUMPER!!!!
Indeed, I DON'T posses a Wagner T-206; even the replica is among the rarest and most sought-after collectibles in Baseball. Most Baseball collectors would not hesitate to choose touching that card for 1/10th of a second over touching Pamela Anderson's b...londe locks for an hour.
Thumper
Even though I finally got it, I still feel like a defeated man!! lol!!

Some one come up with a new list!

I'll probabaly be wrong again that many times, but oh well, it's fun!!

(you sure can tell I don't know much about baseball, huh?)
TerriKhali
Your daughter is SOO FRICKIN" CUTE! OMG!!!!!!!

I can see Daddy on her first date...... sitting on the steps... polishing his shot gun..... and fondly stroking his shovel...... and measuring the guy that comes- from head to toe..... then walking out back with his shovel..... and blocking off a hole about 5 inches larger then the guy is tall..... starting to shovel, whilst chuckling to yourself......

Yup- I can see it all now!

Oh, wait -thats *MY* plan... so sorry.

I'll share it tho, if you'd like!
smile.gif
Thumper
lol

OK, who's next with a list?

I sold my granddaddy's WWI rifle when my son was born (couldn't bear to have a firearm in the house now that I had a child), but DAMN I'm gonna miss it in a few years...

Hey VRIL, how'bout making a list - 9 things you have, one blatant lie (an easy one, Terri and Tump have a hard time plyaing this game... emoticon-0110-tongueout.gif )
Or anybody else, I don't discriminate liars!:)
Thumper
That was a tough round. I'm still hanging my head in shame!!!

Yes, we need a new list!
TerriKhali
Alright, since nobody else is stepping up, I'll go again....

1, I have a bloody string voodoo doll
2, I own a camera that actually takes FILM
3, I have a lining from a "Phantom of the Opera" cap
4, I have a Roboraptor
5, I own a talking robotic macaw parrot
6, I have a backstage working pass from Brittney Spears concert with my pic and name on it
7, I own a life size skull that smokes out it's eyes and nose, and it also changes colors inside
8, I own 4 teak wood masks from Malaysia
9, I have a vase that was once used as an urn for somebody's ashes
10, I have bats hanging from most of my ceiling lights in the house

OK, which one is B.S.?

biggrin.gif
Nini
Hmmm... im half inclined to go with the britney spears pass because its so out of place, but then again its SO random compared to your other stuff, i think you do have it but there it in there to put us off the scent! laugh.gif

K, so im gona go with the roboraptor! lol
Arnprior
I'm going with 6. Britney Spears??? I apologize if I'm wrong, but don't strike me as someone who would pay to go see an artist THAT shallow....
Thumper
I'm going to go with #9. Where's the departed now? I already know you worked around Britney Spears, so that's very logical.
TerriKhali
Nope, I have the rapter.

I have the Pass. I didn't pay to see her- she paid me. I worked the show. tongue.gif front

back

Ummm, the departed is fish food, I should think. I bought it at an estate auction sale, and once I received it, and looked inside, I KNEW that it wasn't just a cool vase. I took it on a boat ride, and poured them over the side mid trip. I also said a little thing about hoping the person wasn't afraid of water, but since they couldn't drown, it should be alright. I also remember saying that I was sad that they didn't have anybody on this side to care for their remains, but that I hoped it ment that they where surrounded where they where, by loved ones..... I must have done alright- I'm not haunted.

3 down, 7 to go.
