The majority of divx movies are done in widescreen, so when streaming on my old fashioned square CRT monitor i get like a strip of the movie across the centre of the screen, and a black line across the bottom and top. Is there a simple way to change the aspect ratio to say 16:9 or 4:3.
Im have a temp fix using my monitors control panel and stretching the screen vertically, but its annoying keep swapping the sizes.

Myself, I just download the file and adjust how I like using KMplayer.

Right-click on the app window to get to the the menus.

Alt + ` will also ctycle the aspect ratios, numpad + and - will zoom as well.

I steam all the time and adjust the aspect ratio, brightness, etc. It's easy.
