Full Version: Slow Motion = Super Speed?

Isn't it odd that shows from the 70's like Wonder Woman, Six Million Dollar Man & Bionic Woman all used slow motion to indicate a character moving at super-speed? Why didn't they just speed the film up?

I don't know which is better...the slow motion special effects or the sound effects...both are pretty funny. emoticon-0136-giggle.gif

You know, I remember when I was a kid back in the 70's they came out with a sneaker called "Zips", in the commercial the kids wearing Zips ran in slow motion and had the Six Million Dollar Man sound effect, I was really ticked off when my pair didn't give me those effects. wink.gif
