Okay then guys and gals, here's an extremely teeeeeeeny-tiiiiny little puzzley game for you all. It's less than 5MB, and though the graphics aren't up to much it's fiendishly addictive, comes with 1000 levels and obeys the laws of physics near-perfectly... in short, it's a perfect geeks game!

Armadillo Run is a physics-based puzzle game. You have to build structures with the purpose of getting an armadillo to a certain point in space. There is a selection of building materials, each with different properties, which can be combined to form almost anything. The realistic physics simulation gives you the freedom to solve each level in many different ways.

I can't believe this hasn't been posted here before, what with so many of us nerds and geeks in the Cafe - I searched for it and nothing came up, so apologies if it's already lurking in the darker corners of the Cafe somewhere...

Downloaded, scanned (Nod32 says "Bonjour Monsieur, c'est cleeeeaaaanio!") and tested - works perfectly! No installation needed, just copy the folder from the RAR archive to your hard drive and double-click the 'Armadillo Run.exe' file to begin the game...

...but I'm warning you - it's one of those "Simple idea, Brain-meltingly addictive" games that will have you tearing your hair out at times. Oh, and if you want to make your own levels just go to the homepage, where a free level designer/editor is available to download (along with many many other goodies!) - there's also hints and much help there too if you get stuck (VERY likely!). Enjoy!
