I had to put other . None have my respect . The labour party is a party which has sold out it's own people , shacked up with business interests , cuddled up to a right wing idiot president and taken us to an illegal war . It has no interest in raising the plight of the downtrodden but seeks the comfortable classes as that is where the votes are .There is nothing truely radical in all their years of government except in stripping civil liberties . The labour govt in the post war years did amazing things yet with crippling debt . This government is as sleazy and sleepy as anything gone before.
The conservatives are still the same . They are still for the rich and see the solution for societies wastrals in charities , the church ect. They still want to remove government and pass by social responsibility. Cameron has given enough indication in many things he has said . He is not disowning Thatcherism , merely giving it a paint job . Interesting he uses the phrase "compassionate conservatism" . It is the same that Bush used . Even his ex private work colleagues found him slimy and without substance . A complete chancer leading a band of crooks.
The liberals should be romping home . But they flounder and show no leadership . They backstab the one good leader they had over personal problems and elect a leader with all the burning fire of a birthday candle . And they still fudge the positions they have having half the party sounding like the tories and the other half wanting social justice . They will be ineffectual untill constitutional change , and the other parties are not going to give them proportional representation .
I vote other.
Double Oh Seven
I too selected other too. Since politicians have the uncanny knack of doing the opposite of what they say they will, i'll support any party that claims they will increase taxes, decrease the services and take all our rights away wink.gif

The leaders of each of the main three, Labour, Conservative and Lib Dems are all Billderbergers so IMO it doesn't make a difference.

I vote for the green party for what it's worth
