After the departure of Rube Sofer, a new head reaper named Cameron Kane takes over. He's a slick businessman who couldn't care less about helping the newly dead. Chaos ensues and brings out the worst in Daisy and Mason who begin drinking anew. George and Reggie re-connect for the first time when George reaps a new friend of Reggie's.

Dead Like Me was my favorite show. But in this film the missing cast that's replaced by other people, just didn't cut it.

I was really disappointed as well. Even the characters that were the same were turned into cliches' of their former selves. It looks like they wrote the script in about a week. I personally thought the last episode that airs was a much better send-off than this.

I'm glad I got the chance to watch it though! It's not available to rent in my area.
