Don't have time to go into detail, but...
Have a look in the QSS Toolkit (the thread pinned to the top of the Help forum, link also in my signature), there you'll find several posts dealing with various download methods. The options available to you will vary depending on if you use IE or Firefox. (my preferred method is using the Firefox add-on Video Download Helper)

Also in the QSS Toolkit are tutorials on how to convert files and burn them, as well as several topics in the Help forum that have been answered (use QssSearch to find similar questions). Have a look around and then feel free to ask for additional help as you need it.

Download Google, Youtube, and Megavideo clips and videos as .AVI files
Go to either CNET or Voodoo's official website and download the downloader (free of course). Then go to one of the afformentioned sites that has the particular clip or video that you would like to download, open up Voodoo Downloader, and simply copy the URL from the site you're getting the video from and paste it into the link box. In the field below the link box, choose where you would like to save the file, then simply click the arrow next to the link box, and your download will be under way!!

Keep in mind that this downloader certainly isnt the fastest around, BUT, it automatically saves your files as .avi extensions, meaning that you will not need to convert your file in any way, which is what a lot of us do with files normally downloaded from these places.

Currently, it ONLY supports these sites, as well as metacafe, and some others that dont really need to be brought up here (you'll find that out by going to their site), but if you're like me, and download a lot from these sites, particularly megavideo, then this program might just be for you!! biggrin.gif
EDIT 5/12/08: as reported to me by chaosreaper, this is currently NOT a working method for IE users,........for now. i dont know if megavideo has done something to affect users trying to download, or what exactly the case is (as the voodoo site still says it supports megavideo). but until i find out what the problem is, this solution for IE users WILL NOT work!

I tried to use Voodo to change a google movie to a avi form. But for some reason this did not work. I am using ie and since it didn't work I was wondering if you know some how else to do it. I have to movies that I really wanna switch over The Haunted Airman and The Bad Mothers Handbook.
