I have installed this on two machines without any trouble

DL from mega.
Extract from the rar.
Copy key.
Install and use key when needed.
Copy updater file from the extracted files and move to where the software is installed (I.e C:\program files)?
Then run the updater?

once install is done, dont press finish button, go to directory, add License Updater, run it, close folder, run NOD, update,.. done.

my avast detected a virus in the updater. anyone else get this?

eset nod itself will detect the patch everytime you do a full system scan, be sure you say "no action" otherwise your updating will stop.

to recap: no virus. every patch on the planet shows up as a virus. it is because it works like a virus keeping your program functioning.


xD i had bitdefender and that thing never gave me an option.. it just started deleting my hacks and patches O=

Im really interested in using this A/V program and other programs (such as TuneUp Utilities 08 or 09) in this section but im a complete novice when it comes to understanding how i would make this work. For example, i have no clue what you folks are talking about when you say to extract the .rar and copy updater file from the extracted files and move to where the software is installed (I.e C:\program files). Im sure in the end its a pretty simple thing to do, but if someone could be so kind to explain to me step by step on how to make these programs work without paying for them that would be so awesome, because i thought all i had to do was D/L from the given link and that i would get some sort of license key like when i D/L Avast! Free Edition and all i had to do was put that license key in and id be done. but it doesnt seem to be that simple. so any help anyone can give me would be very appreciated. Or if anyone has the patience to guide me through the process while im actually D/L and setting up the program that would be even better. Thanx in advance.

In the Info it does say
If expired or near, the License Updater will automatically find a new legit license ( User Name/ And Password) and insert it into your ESET PROGRAM *automatically*, and you will have another expiration date.

Ignore valid expiry dates.

I hope this virus is better than my other one.
I have Mac Afee and everytime I scan it says nothing but i know theres one somewher in there i keep getting pop ups to buy some antivirus 360 program
and i cant get rid of it anyhow

When i open it a mario thing comes up in the bottom right where it says the time and it has an X on it?

Same issue, it's Adware, if you use a adware/spyware killer it dies. for some ungodly reason it's back though, and won;t die this time.

But i can vouch for NOD32, it's a god send.

also try spybot search and destroy.
