I must say, at first I was a little put off by the "boo hoo" attitude presented. It came off as just a bunch of bitter whining by a nation that wants all of the EU benefits with none of the regulations, but as the video went on the more broad issue came into focus. I think it was poor choice to continually say that the EU imposed this and that on "US", considering the other countries play by the same rules, but the over all message, especially as summed up towards the end of the video is a fair one. as a densely populated country, of relative financial fortune, the people of Great Britain should be pushing the EU to enforce per-capta regulations. even if it requires threatening to withdraw membership (and hefty financial support)
great watch, I would recommend to ALL europeans in nations belonging to or seeking membership in the EU
as for us "new world" folk, we have to concentrate on fighting tooth and nail to ensure we don't get raped by the US in NAFTA

Now here's a theory that's bound to generate a shitload of attacks and insults at me... that's all fine and dandy... it's just a thought anyway.
Considering all the docs I've watched, whether it's on religion, politics, ufos, conspiracies etc... I like to try and find a common thread that might tie all these things together. It seems that all things are pointing to a unification and compromise of all the aforementioned topics... a globilization of all facets of human life and and beliefs. Some would say this is a good thing while others are convinced otherwise.
Personally, some days I'm all for it, given the idea that there are some benefits to it such as the possibility of a reduction of scarcity economics, whilst other days I'm against it when I consider who'll be running it and where my place in it might be.
Now here's the weird stuff that tries to tie in the conspiracy stuff. I don't believe we're alone in this universe. We've been around for somewhere between 10 - 20 thousand years; at least as a higher thinking creature... despite the exceptions we meet daily. Earth has been around for about 4.5 billion years and apparently the universe has been kicking around for some 13 -15 billion.
So, I wonder what we would be like if we survive, say, another million years. Would we be able to flitter about a world with our current technology unnoticed... I kinda think so... just seems logical. Now consider a another life bearing planet (or several) that was able to produce intelligent life before our planet was even born or even as soon as a couple of million years ago. Is it so incredible to believe that a little blue planet that can produce life wouldn't have been found by them. Even with our current astronomy, what are WE doing. We are looking for planets that can support life, in fact we are looking everywhere for ANY sign of life out there... why wouldn't they?
Personally, I think we've been found a long long time ago, and it's only been until recently that we are able to get any serious consideration from them and move beyond the curiousity level.
I wonder then, is the agenda to globalize our planet a precursor to becoming a galactic or universal candidate for a much larger society. Because, let me tell you, as we are now, they wouldn't want us... I wouldn't.
Here's the thought; Our governments are working feverishly to unite the planet into a single community called earth because they've been informed that it's the only way these advanced civilizations will ever deal with us.
Go ahead fire away...

All smells a little UKIP. but is not to say that it does not raise some valid points.

There is no conspiracy, indeed the Scots had McAlpines Fusiliers build a Star Cruiser on the Clydeside, and with a Scottish crew, sent them off into the vast void of time and space only to find that we are not alone
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLxLmFhROqYI think that answers any questions regarding conspiracy theories.
