This show crept up on me. I stumbled upon the first season last year and watched all the episodes over two days.

and I have to wait a day longer than the rest of you, I got rid of HBO to save some money on my cable bill so I gotta wait for my homey to upload the episode to demonoid

OMG....I NEED episode 4 badly...ive been going thru horrific withdrawals for 2 weeks now. PLEASE some1 upload Season 2/episode 4!?!? I knew nothing of the show till I seen it on here & watched the 1st episode, I was instantly hooked & ended up watching all 12 hrs. of the 1st season in 1 sitting. This waiting each week is killing me. I had to go out & get some of the books to get my fix between seasons. VERY good show!

Yes thank you so VERY much!! I do not have HBO, or cant afford it more like, and really appreciate those who post these. You RULE(almost as much as TrueBlood itself) & I can't wait to see what happens with everyone on the show, (particularly Jessica, I fell in love w/her in ep.3) & am curious how closely the storyline will follow the books. episode 4... all I gotta say is holy shit. There is something HUGE about to go down. I havent figured out the new waitress yet, but that deal with the Hotel Consierge has me intrigued. And I am still a bit stumped as to how the church knew Bill and the gang was on the way, and what flight they were going to be on. I have a sneaking suspicion that the Sheriff's two lackeys, either the female, the male, or both, are doing an inside job.

I've been to few parties like that , everything gets pretty rockin' and then the last thing I usually remember is other peoples eyes looking really dark to me.

...then I wake up the next morning with a mouthful of dirt, Hmmm.

Lol everything in the party looked fun until the lady started eating random dirt -.- kinda ruined my session good episode though waiting for the next one.

What puzzles me, at the beginning of the season, when Bill came into town, he had an extra curiosity with the Bellefleur family. I hate the detective character and would rather them skip his storyline. Also in the first season, something was up with Terry. He has so much regret of people dieing and I do not necessarily think it is because of the war. They seemed to drop his storyline. I was thinking that Terry was the werewolf because he seemed to have so much regret. So, it is annoying to me that the show keeps introducing new characters without really developing some of its original characters.

aw... thats weird i coulda swore maryann was circe the witch from the odyssey. i mean the warm welcomes she gives, the weird vibrating thing she does, and the pigs it just seemed so perfect. either that or she can malipuated peoples perception because i just know that tara's new bf isnt real.

She is a maenad ..True Blood is based after the Southern Vampire Mysteries book series. Maryann is a character from the second book "living Dead in Dallas", it explains what she is.

For me it loaded after a few tries but then the video stuttered along not keeping up with the audio...

Geez man, you really don't have to be rude about it, I said nothing mean/rude to anyone, and obviously I have to wait like everyone else. I think maybe Circe=maenad=Maryanne...or something quite close. What she's doing/done to Tara is very similar to what Circe did to Jason in the Odyssey...lulling them in to a false sense of paradise.


On a completely different vein, it seems to strike me at different times how very beautiful Tara is. At times she is very manish, she has very defined arms and pecs, but when they actually put her in something flattering ( i.e. black dress @ Gran's funeral, dress @ Maryanne's party) she is quite stunning. I love her character 360 degrees, she is the only one in the whole series I have not wanted to plant my big fat foot in their ass at one point or another...o wait I take that back, Hoyt is pretty awesome as well. Such a big teddybear.

I actually d/l the Twilight books from QSS, don't know if they were abridged or not... maybe soon they will have these books on here. I have a hard time keeping my nose in a book with two smallish boys.

I just watched 205, and it seemed like a big "Bridge" to me... hopefully more happens next episode...but that bathtub scene was too contrived I thought...and how come Jason seems to be a total idiot all of a sudden? (I mean, more than usual) Kinda getting sick of the big "doe eyes" look on his face.

don't get me wrong i can suspend my disbelief, but, "too complicated" just doesn't cut it as an explanation for me
i mean, he's already a human in the first place , that's no biggie, but changing his face is "too complicated"

dogs, deers, minotaurs , all these things are pretty bloody complicated too if you ask me, perhaps more so if its guts are anatomically correct

are you really going to whine about shapeshifters on a vampire show? The real question you should be asking, is how do vampire men get hard without a heartbeat. I questioned this in season 2 of Buffy and I still don't get it.

I just finished Dead Until Dark, (on audio, cause who has time to read a book?), I have Living Dead In Dallas, but I'm waiting for this season to finish first, so I don't get spoiler'd.

and how many times have you heard a vampire say "coursing through these/my veins"? personally, i've lost count
besides they bleed, so obviously, heartbeat or no, the blood flows somehow.

anyway, vampires get a lot of artistic license as far as i'm concerned, just so long as none of them go getting knocked up by werewolves (that's just silly )

but shapeshifters, by definition, can shift their shapes, i remember seeing odo turn into a coffee cup once, strangely enough tho, he also couldn't do human,
i think there's a conspiracy here,
i think the shapeshifters that run hollywood are trying to convince us that other humans are impossible to mimic so that we don't suspect that all our favorite actors are one in the same person to save on overheads while justifying payslips for entire "star studded casts" instead of just george clooney

I mean if Sam walked into an episode of Law and Order and turned into a dog, you could complain all you want. But this is a show where the lead character can read minds, where her boyfriend can simulate the damage of a tornado, and Andy Bellefleur was able to make detective.

when bill said its just magic i almost gave up on this show. im glad i didn't, because there has been good twists so far but man does that annoy me.

I would assume that the shapeshifters only have one other form.
I was kind of forced to watch the first season with my significant other and I pretty much hated it but for some reason the past few episodes have really clicked, I like the idea of a giant war about to happen and I enjoyed the Viking Eric scene with the kid vampire. It seems like the camp/fantasy factor has been amplified and the show seems to be heading in a more action/violence oriented direction. Season two has completely changed my mind about the show.

That’s why Sam (a bar owner) is so spooked when he sees Maryann Forrester. Remember the scene where he takes money from his safe, as if he’s planning to leave? In all likelihood, he’s planning to give the money to Maryann (the maenad) as a tribute.

I totally ruined myself and read book 9 yesterday. All 296 pages. But since there is *another* book on its way, and the show isn't EXACTLY following the books, I will still wait for each episode.

Thanks.. so Bellefleur are his descendants. Why are both characters introduced early in the tv series have annoying or underdeveloped characters? Oh well the tv show seems to already have moved past them. On to more dramatic stuff. Is it just me or is the show degenerating to a days (or nights) of our lives buffy clone soap opera?

I never watched much Buffy... I think all the hookups are kind of ... overwhelming for this episode... but the creation/destruction of each love interest will be exciting, and different relationships will be formed. Like I said, I think this episode is a "bridge" to begin several different storylines.

I've been reading up on my mythology so *maybe* I can catch all those small references that I hate going back and seeing... esp because all the episodes are on Megavideo...but they are sooo pretty when I do get to see them!

3 days to go! I will be better when there are more shows to watch, but right now, TB is the best one out there! I hate summer! (ok not really...)

celeste... if you have a demonoid account, they usually have a kick ass HD version available a few hours after it airs.... I DL them and watch them on my laptop, the quality is unmatched.
