In Romania, witchcraft is a multi-million dollar business. TV used to be packed with ads for witches advertising spells. Then the government took the unusual step of banning witchcraft ads on tv. “This advertising ban makes me feel I’m back in Communist times”, complains Witch Bratara. The government is concerned the adverts make Bucharest look backward. But witches feel their ancient craft is under threat. They are campaigning for the ban to be lifted. As one woman explains: “In Romania, every little village has its own witch”

Hmmm...I'm debating whether or not this constitutes 'witchcraft'. It seems more along the lines of folk-magic. Then again, even folk-magic traditions such as 'Hoodoo' have been called 'Witchcraft'.

At least with modern Wiccans and NeoPagans, there is at least a claim to 'witchcraft', as the church wrongly decreed in the middle-ages
that Paganism was Witchcraft (mainly in an attempt to completely destroy pagan rivals).
