So far so good. Seems strange not having Lex around though, or Lana as well. I know they got some cool stuff planed for this season, hope it doesn't fall flat with out some of the key players though ( i know they will be back for mini arcs in the show but.. ) as this is one of my top favorite shows!

I heard episode 3 is going to focus on Oliver and how he learned to use a bow. Should be cool.

Is the new guy ( the one that likes Chloe ) suppose to be a take off of Doomsday or something? It showed him kind of changing in the previews and I heard that Doomsday was suppose to be in this season, although he wont be anything like the Doomsday from the comic books I hear.

That's affirmative... Sam Witwer is playing Davis Bloome/Doomsday this season.

TBH I think / hope it will lead to a spin off show and he will be Superman. They could call it Metropolis or something.

I'd say that's by far the most likely scenario, finger crossed anyhoo.

When Smallville premiered October 16, 2001....they never intended him to fly or ever become Superman threw the whole series run. It was just suppose to be pre-Superman stuff. That may have changed by now though as It looks like they are going all out now. Personally, I hope they stick with the original formula and if they want to take it furture, ya...do a spin off.

Yes yes, the "no tights no flights" rule, but if you think about it, they've already had him fly (as kalel). Might as well bring out the cape. Also the show is being not being produced by Al Gough and Miles Millar anymore. So it could go in any direction now.

maybe him needing a descuise(spelling?) in a episode, and then they show how zoë develops like a cude supersuit? so like, a prelude to superman.... the other costumed heroes he hangs out with could find it nice...

Not sure if she killed him or not or did like belonii said, either way, it f***in rocked!!! The whole episode kind of reminded me of the parts that were cut out of the original Superman movie where Louis was trying to prove Clark to be Superman, you know, from the Donner cut version. All good stuff.

Well whatever it is she did (can't wait till e08 to find out) I'm thrilled at the thought of Chloe becoming bad. All throughout the show the meteor freaks have gone crazy and when Chloe found out she was infected she even tried to get cured because she was afraid she'd be evil. Remember the episode with Dean Cane as the immortal who was a doctor with the cure. So I think they may just be building off that. So, my vote is for Chloe to become a villain.

She sure would know how to take Clark down and would make for his best adversary yet I think!!

Episode 08 Bloodlines:

Alright! The Doomsday story is getting underway now.

Last nights episode was good. Not sure if I like Chloe being taken out of the pitcher as far as Clark's secret and all but everything else was cool. This looked like one of the more costly episodes they have done before. Loved how it ended with the fortress going black!! Doomsday next week!!!!

nice setup for next week, but bummer that chloë got wiped... i think she's leaving the series? hope not...

Well I think it was inevitable. I mean everybody on the show friggin knew. This possibly being the last season, I think they had to regain clarks anonanimity so he could follow his destiny.

Yeah, I was worried the whole episode was going to be like that, and I wish they wouldn't have done it. Great to see Doomday and all, but damnit, I really wanted to SEE him. Ya know. Oh, and what the fxxk is up with Lana's hair?

Almost didn't recognize Lana at first. She must have had some work done on her face or something, mostly around her eyes, they seemed different. Cloverfield is right, thats what it did seem like. Damn, January 15th......I cant wait!!!

she just finished filming the new Street Fighter flick, she plays Chun Li. I think that explains the new doo, I like it.

What, why? I think Chloe is awesome. She helps Clark in so many ways, they are a little team that gets big results. What did you guys think of the Legion? I liked Irma, really liked Rokk (so cute), but Lightning Lad, I wanted to kill that kid. He was so annoying. I think they should have picked a different actor or something, but something was not working for me with that kid.

I feel the exact same way about the legion Urban. Lightning Lad blew. I only wanted Chloe to die cuz I'm twisted like that. It would've been great! I love it when shows think out of the box and have unpredicted endings. The way the legion was hinting that Chloe was not in their archives along with the others and the fact that she is the only main character that is not included in any of the previous versions of Superman lore, leads me to believe she will be killed. Mark my words.... Chloe will die.

I haven't watched Smallville in a littlebit over a year. Now I finally catch a new episode on television I feel so lost. :[.

great episode! but i really cudn't be arsed with lana now! they've completely overused her - the scenes just before the break with louis were brilliant! like they were finally gonna link up with superman! and i agree something must be done with chloe! tho the killing would have to be an extreme way like a major sacrifice or something!

That makes sense what you said SEB. Chloe would have to die considering she really is not connected to Superman at all. I am very interested to see how that will end. I like the major sacrifice thing rowanboat. It would be huge when she dies. I had no problem with Lana, I thought she was great Thursday.

My theory is she goes into hiding and works 24/7 with the justice league. She already helps green arrow on the side. I think she'll become something like there technical director, taking her super computer from the isis foundation with her.

That is a really good theory. I can't believe that did not occur to me. Really nice.

Thanks, me and a friend came up with it back in season seven, before she got the Isis gig, then when that happened it strengthened the theory. I almost gave up on it when she forgot about his secret. But now that she's back..... (and the guy from the league hinted to it) I'm stickin with it.

There's a character in the DC Universe that was kind of like Chloe, god, that was back 12 years ago or so when I used to collect comics. She was smart and used computer skills and helped heroes all the time but her name escapes me. Maybe someone can help me out here. Marvel had one as well, but I can't remember her name as well. Oracle maybe?

Chloe went back to being normal though. She knows Clark's secret again but lost all her high tec intelligence as she stated in the last episode, so who knows for sure what will happen. I do agree that she will die before it's all said and done. They have hinted at that for a few seasons now, making us believe it happened or will happen a few times now.

I do hope they keep her around till the very end though. Her character adds a lot to the show. I wouldn't be surprised to see her being the one who gets Clark to finally fly as well, threw some act of rescue or something.

Well, so far i think they've tried to make us think that everyone is going to die, at one point or another. But so far almost everyone is still around. I still think we'll see her go off one day to work with the green arrow. Oh and I think it was Oracle.

I am with you on that. Chloe does add a lot to the show. She does help Clark otu a lot like I said, if anybody, she would be the one to get him to fly again. If not, definitely Lois, if she gets in some really big trouble, which she likes to do.

How dumb, as soon as we start to see Clark falling for Lois and she for him, this slut shows up. Yea I know I was rooting for them at first but it's on, off, on, off, on, off. It's OLD. Plus lois is way "hooter" than Lana.

Lois is the girl for CK but why do the writers always bring Lana back.....
