Site rules, please read just incase. by the BIG CHEESE

1) Link to the source of the file, such as [supernovatube, vreel, divx,] edited by mrbrownee70? etc. not to another site full of links - (site owners - this is not a place to promote your site - face immediate ban if you do!)

2) check indexes before posting? - movies DOES NOT mean movie request - 2007 DOES NOT mean a film released in 1987 - edited by mrbrownee70?

3) Post individual items unless from a series - eg movie collections are a nice idea ONLY if they are continued to be managed! - only regular users / mods will be allowed these privileges, otherwise make clear consice individual postings only please.

4) Not sure if what you are posting is on the site already? - [look at pinned indexes. Did not find a duplicate post via indexes? - go ahead and make a new post?.] edited by mrbrownee70?

5) Only link to streaming content - DO NOT link to torrents/file sharing/rapidshare etc.

6) DO NOT request or post links to pornography, we aim to be a family friendly site.

7) Abuse, racism = permanent ban! unreadable post will be edited or deleted by divx mods. edited by mrbrownee70?

8) If easily offended please read imdb reviews about the content you are about to watch.

Thanks

a few notes to consider? by moviefan

And please remember to post new topics that are only links to Movies in this forum.

Post all requests in the requests section only, and all problems in the help section.

Post all movie chat in the "discuss movie subforum" only, even if it is about a movie. Chat and post as much as you like here in a thread about a movie but only start a topic with a movie link and name your topic title the name of the movie you are posting.

Thanks everyone, keeping everything in the right sections makes everything easier for everyone to find.

the following link contains a variety of most helpfull links and plenty of resources to guide you on your QSS journey!!!

posting a video? by deathdealer

Post A Video

Search the index in the proper forum prior to posting.
If one finds that it is already listed, check it to see if the links one wants to post are already listed.
If they are exact duplicates, do not post.
If they are different, post a reply & add the links as an Alternative link.

The next thing to check is the rest of the forum just to make sure.
This is simpler than it sounds.
The second blue bar from the top of the page is The QSS Network, the fourth link to the right is QSS Search.
Click this & enter the video one is trying to find or not find. Here is a helpful post about how to search.
Scroll down to the "Refine results for:" line.
Three options are listed left to right: qss main, openflv, qss forums.
For the purpose of this exercise, click the last one to the right "qss forums."
When the page refreshes that text will now be bold to indicate that one is seeing results for the forum only.
Page through three to five pages or so to make sure one has looked thoroughly.
If satisfied with ones results, continue on. If not, PM a moderator for assistance.
Next, choose the correct location or subforum to post the video to, movies or TV etc.

Have the below links ready to use:
1. The video
2. IMDb info
3. A picture (optional)
4. Copy the video link
5. Click the Insert Link button .
6. The dialog box will say, "Please enter the full url." http:// will already be in there & highlighted, paste the video link into the field & make sure that there is not an additional http:// & press ok.
7. Next, another dialog box will appear that says "Please enter the title for this item. There is already information in the box that is highlighted & says "Visit My Website," just type over it & make sure the prefilled text doesn't appear. The word to use could be video, movie or anything one would like. One may now highlight the word "video" & use bold , underline , color , Fonts or Sizes. Highlight the text each time to get the tags inserted correctly. Or don't even bother, choices are endless. If a color is not selected, the default will be navy blue. The finished link should look like so -----> Video

CODE
[url="megavideo.com"][u][b][color="#0000FF"]Video[/color][/b][/u][/url]

8. Next is the IMDb link. Copy the IMDb info link & repeat five through seven. The text to use should be Info, IMDb or the like & should look something like so -----> Info

CODE
[url="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0407362/"][u][b][color="#0000FF"]Info[/color][/b][/u][/url]

9. Next is the image if one so desires. Insert it before or after the links just created. Copy the image link, then click the "Insert Image" button .
10. It will behave similarly to the insert link button & will say "Please enter the URL for this image" http:// will already be in the box & highlighted, paste the link into the field & make sure that http:// didn't duplicate, press ok. It should now look something like so, minus the actual image display.
