Are you using Firefox + Adblock Plus and getting stuck on the loading animation?
They've changed their page so that it loads a javascript from spotxchange to load an ad and then load the video/player.
The following filter in Adblock is what's blocking it:
CODE
/search.spotxchange.com/*

You can either disable that filter or add exception filters, here's the 2 exceptions I added:
CODE
http://search.spotxchange.com/js/spotx.js
http://search.spotxchange.com/ad_code/ad.js?cookie_me=true*

I sometimes have to refresh the page once to get the player/video to load.
If that's not the case then start a Help topic and provide a little more detail and we'll see what we can do.

Yeah, I'm using Firefox with Adblock. I also tried streaming videos on the Donogo website with Internet Explorer 8. I get the screen on IE8, but buffering remains at 0%.

Looks as if Vreel and adblock plus are not getting along... Divx player will not load with ABP enabled... I disabled it to get the movie to play and got a massive dose of pop ups... Can someone tell me what exceptions I should allow so I can still have ABP enabled and still be able to see the divx player?

Disabling that filter allowed the player to start for me

Wow! Super cool tip here SEB!! I started using DownloadThemAll, and am currently getting D/L speeds (fluctuating of course) between 315 and 525 KB/s! Cheers! (IMG:http://static.quicksilverscreen.com/ipb/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0137-clapping.gif)

It sounds like Stagevu and Vreel will soon have a potential competitor. Vioku, a barely new HD video site announced today that they'll be using the Divx player soon!
This are some great news to me, because I personally love that site for it's look and easy navigation so seriously.. I can't wait (IMG:http://static.quicksilverscreen.com/ipb/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0102-bigsmile.gif)

Hi,

We are bringing back divx on supernovatube.com -- it will be on limelight networks so it will be blazing fast. But for it to make sense in the long term we are going to limit file size to 100-200mbs. This means uploaders will have to split their stuff. Does anyone want try it out.

i got 2 beta tester trying 350mb files. I will see if that can be done economically. anyone can try 350 mb files today if you want.

As for the speed - usually people find limelight to be very fast. (i don't remember complaints when stage6 was using them)

it is very good news and we should not complain about the ability for fast divx and even though i am not willing there a lot of people who will split and upload happily for a bit of quality, if this plan continues it will be nothing but good news...

I made a new upload page for divx. it should be 4-5 times faster since its on a really fast server.

Just go to the normal upload.
Then click on the link "Click here to upload divx videos"

the current divx file limit is 400mb!

Megaupload videos aren't streaming. I'm assuming they're down.

when you open a megaupload divx video. read the instructions on the page. they are one of the fastest streams out there and yes they still work fine.

I bet they got the first bill from limelight and are looking for ways to stay afloat. I haven't gotten but 2 uploads in the time they've reopened to work. I'm just gonna sit back and watch em crumble.

Firefox users that have the Greasemonkey add-on...
I did a very simple userscript to bypass the timer.
If you don't already have greasemonkey, you can install it from Here. (restart Firefox after installing the add-on)
Once greasemonkey is installed and enabled, click this link to install my one line script: Userscript

It will pop up a box asking if you want to install, click Install and you're done.

Now go to any Vreel link, click the 'Free View >>" link (see image above for reference) and it should then redirect you to the video, no waiting.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Internet Explorer users...
can use this bookmarklet to do the same thing (works with FF and other browsers too), except it's not automated like userscripts are.
Create a new bookmark/favorite in IE, then where you would normally enter a URL you need to enter the following code
(Important: 'java script' should be one word, so remove the space)
CODE
java script: document.getElementById('redirect').submit();

Save the bookmark/favorite using whatever meaningful name you want.

Now go to any Vreel link, click the 'Free View >>" link, once the page with the timer loads then click on your new bookmarklet and it will redirect you to the video without waiting.
