Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP3 (IMG:http://i29.tinypic.com/21m883p.png) Description: Windows® XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) includes all previously released updates for the operating system. This update also includes a small number of new functionalities, which do not significantly change customers experience with the operating system. As expected, the popular scene group known as ETH0 released proper version of Win XP Pro with Service Pack 3 integrated. Don't let the Student Edition tag in the name fool you. Under the hood its the same version as Corporate Edition, but this Student doesn't require any WGA cracks, activations or whatever. Best part is this copy will be recognized as legit one (Genuine) - means that (future) updates (from Windows Update) will work fine. So, download, burn, install - and after all enjoy! Be sure to read the NFO for Product Key. INSTRUCTIONS: STEP ONE: Download and unrar these files. CODE http://rapidshare.com/files/236386186/XPSP3QSS.part1.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/236391986/XPSP3QSS.part2.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/236397187/XPSP3QSS.part3.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/236402516/XPSP3QSS.part4.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/236407913/XPSP3QSS.part5.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/236412769/XPSP3QSS.part6.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/236415380/XPSP3QSS.part7.rar Password: CODE quicksilverscreen Inside you will find a find a image file with the ".iso" extention. Also you will find a "readme" file. Be sure to do exactly that for the product key. Write down the product key, as you will need it later. STEP TWO: Download PowerIso CODE http://www.flyupload.com/?fid=819759758 (serial is included in download)STEP THREE: Install PowerIso and register the serial. Run PowerIso. STEP FOUR Insert a blank cd into your cd-r drive STEP FIVE Click on "BURN" Direct the image file option to the ".iso" file. Make sure the proper burning drive with the blank cd-r is selected. Set burning speed to 4X so you don't make a coaster. Coasters aren't a good thing when you are trying to install your operating system. I've seen to many people burn operating system discs to fast and end up with errors. You don't want to make a drink coaster and not realize it until half way through the install. And finally click burn again. Upon completion of the burn you will have a bootable Windows XP Pro Student Edition SP3 installation disc. Grab a sharpie and write the key on the disc so you don't forget it. Make sure your bios is capable to boot from your cd rom. Step Five: Boot your computer from the disc and WindowsXp will begin to install. Follow the the on screen prompts during installation. P.S. Also... don't install Windows XP by running this disc on your current installation. Always boot from it for a clean install. F.A.Q. Q: when i use this disc should i start it with my current windows xp running and do an upgrade? A: no, you should boot your computer with this install disc and do a clean install. not an upgrade. Q: what can I do to make sure all my hardware will work with this installation? A: be sure to back up your drivers prior to install. Q: do i need to crack this copy in anyway to make it genuine? A: absolutely not. just type in the product key located in the read me file (better write that down before booting up with the disc and not knowing what the product key is) and you are good to go. 100% legal genuine copy of Windows. Q: what does SP3 mean? A: it means that this version of Windows comes with Service Pack 3 for Windows XP. Service Pack 3 is a collection of all the updates provided by Microsoft for windows xp. Q:Do i burn this as a bootable disc? A:yes and i have added instructions to the first post. Q:How do I format my harddrive? A:During the install of windows, the disc will do it for you. It will prompt you to choose what file system you want to format your harddrive to use. You have the options between FAT32 or NTFS. I always use the NTFS file system. Q:How do I back up firefox bookmarks? A:Look HERE for an exellent tutorial containing how to import and export your firefox bookmarks to a single file. Also MOZBACKUP is a good program for backing up all of firefox. Here is a screen shot of the Build Version on the setup file: (IMG:http://i27.tinypic.com/10cm33r.png) If for any reason you have problems with this passing validation, then download and install the setup file in this... i was worried that it wouldnt even have IE (but it did). first thing i DLed was Firefox. still running smooth. |
