Many of the most commonly asked questions can be answered here in one place rather then be lost on the pages of QSS. I have seen so many nicely written tutorials here in QSS and I just thought it would be nice to have them in one place rather then search for it through the pages of QSS.

So if you posted a tutorial, made a video tutorial, & or found a video tutorial that you would like to share, please post them here. I am sure alot of people will be appreciative of it.

Here is a few I used before. I know there is so much out there.

How to View Blocked Sites Using simple methods.

http://quicksilverscreen.com/ipb/index.php?showtopic=24043

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How to View Blocked Websites even when Proxy blocking software is enabled.

Ultrasurf .
Original Post Here http://www.rajeshrana.net/2007/08/08/ultra...ing-technology/
It is the flagship software product from UltraReach Internet Corp. for Internet anti-censorship. It enables users inside countries with heavy Internet censorship to visit any public web sites in the world safely and freely. it enables users to browse any website freely just the same as using the regular IE browser while it automatically searches the highest speed proxy servers in the background.

What does it means??
* 100% freedom to have 100% information in most secure way.
* It means no matter where you are you can access 100% free version of internet I mean no firewalls no restriction nothing….
* Almost all schools, universities and corporate offices raise firewalls to filter out not work related sites, now those firewalls will be of no use or they have to change their plans.
* Everybody can access various social networks like Orkut, Youtube, Myspace, Hi5, Facebook, Linkedin etc. which are blocked almost in 99% schools and offices.
* 100% real time and it’s encryption is better then any online banking system.

It’s very simple you have to just-
* download an exe file
* then extract it
* and run
* Set proxy if u have any (generally in offices internet are provided through proxies, you can find that, through tools>>internet options>>Connections>>LAN Settings>> there you are with proxy server for your LAN and it’s port
* Just copy that to proxy settings of Ultrasurf.
* Then a window will pop up, says some thing in Chinese, just close this window
* And open fresh internet explorer
* There you are, you can surf any information.
* For office people: beware don’t spread words to your colleagues keep this info as limited as you can, coz if system people got to know about it then they’ll take your comp for scrutinizing.

And download it here http://www.ultrareach.com/company/download.htm

How to View Blocked Websites even when Proxy blocking software is enabled. (More Complex But Full proof Solution)

You can get the Circumventor program, which gets around all Web-blocking software.

Here are the instructions on how to use it. Original post can be found here http://www.peacefire.org/circumventor/simp...structions.html

Please Note!! You don't actually install the Circumventor on the computer that is blocked from accessing Web sites. You, or a friend of yours, has to install the Circumventor on some other machine which is not censored.

For example, if you want to get around Web blocking at work, don't install the Circumventor on your work computer. Install the Circumventor on your home computer. When the installer is done, it will give you the URL for your new Circumventor, and then you write that URL down and take it in with you to work, where you can use that URL to bypass the Web blocking there. Similarly, if you're in China and blocked from accessing certain sites, don't install the Circumventor on a machine in China; instead, get a friend to install it outside China, and then they can send you the URL that you can use to access banned sites.

How to install the Circumventor
The machine where you install the Circumventor must have a fast Internet connection (not dial-up), and it must be running Windows XP or 2000 (this includes most computers these days). Also, once you install the Circumventor on your machine, the Circumventor will only work as long as you have your machine turned on and connected to the Internet, so you should only install it on machines that are online more or less all the time.

NOTE: By installing this software, you will be joining an interconnected Web of Circumventor machines, so just as you can surf the Web via other people's machines (at sites like StupidCensorship.com), at times other users will be surfing the Web through your machine. However, they will not have access to any files or programs on your machine.

To install:
1. Download ActivePerl from this link and install it. It must be installed to C:\Perl (this should be the default). Accept all of the default options.
2. Download OpenSA 2.0.2 beta from this link (FireFox users -- please right-click and pick "Save Link As") and install it. Accept all of the default options. (If you get to a screen titled "Server Information" and it doesn't have values filled in for "Network Domain", "Server Name" and "Administrator's Email Address", just fill in these boxes with made-up random values -- the Circumventor doesn't use them.)
3. Download the circumventor-setup.exe program from this link and pick "Save" -- then once you have saved it on your computer, run the circumventor-setup.exe file that you saved.

If the circumventor-setup.exe program succeeds, it will display an "It's ready!" page at the end of the install. If it fails, it will create a file circumventor-setup-log.txt -- send that file to bennett@peacefire.org and we will try to figure out what went wrong.

How to Restore Deleted Files

Video Tutorial >>>> http://www.metacafe.com/watch/800482/restore_deleted_files/

Website >>>> http://www3.telus.net/mikebike/RESTORATION.html and http://www.download.com/Restoration/3000-2...4-10322949.html

Description
Restore files which are deleted from the recycle bin or deleted while holding down the Shift key by mistake.
Conversely, this program has another function that makes it almost impossible to restore all deleted files.
You can use it after deletion of confidential documents, embarrassing files and so on.

You don't have to install it, so it doesn't leave any garbage in the PC.
(You can also run it from a floppy disk.)
Even if a file seems to be restored, there is no guarantee that the contents are correct.
After you run the program, please check the files.
You can probably restore it correctly if the drive has enough free space and if it's just after deletion.
If you restore a folder, there is no guarantee that all files or
folders which used to belong to the folder will be in it.
If you can't find them in it, please search and restore them one by one.
If you still can't find them, it's impossible to restore them.
It will be almost impossible to restore any deleted files if you run the complete deletion function.
To be exact, fragments of deleted files can be in last clusters of existing files or allocated and unwritten files.
(Note that this function is not suitable for TOP SECRET information.)
Even if you find the information of completely deleted files, their contents must be erased.
If you want to erase the information too, please run the function again.

Here's one I did because the fullscreen button on megavideo does nothing for me.

Post -- How To Watch Megavideo Fullscreen

QUOTE
Okay, I'm sick and tired of not being able to fullscreen Megavideo. So what can you do? Find the .SWF address, and type it into your address bar.

On the right hand side of the video, there is a URL and an EMBED spot, with highlightable text.

Copy the EMBED code. for example(without the spaces): < object width="432" height="351" >< param name="movie" value="http: //www.megavideo.com/v/5U6U1FNJc676bb2f3e96ef2eb4fdd4993d1b20f6.5475132.0" >< /param>< param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.megavideo.com/v/5U6U1FNJc676bb2f3e96ef2eb4fdd4993d1b20f6.5475132.0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="432" height="351" ></embed >< /object>

you have two choices. the VALUE=" http: //www.megavideo.com/v/5U6U1FNJc676bb2f3e96ef2eb4fdd4993d1b20f6.5475132.0 "

or the EMBED SRC=" http: //www.megavideo.com/v/5U6U1FNJc676bb2f3e96ef2eb4fdd4993d1b20f6.5475132.0 "

delete everything but ONE of the URLs, make sure you include the periods. EVERYTHING between the quotation marks (nix my spaces).

You should have your fullscreen vid from Megavideo. It's not TRUE fullscreen, but it'll take up the whole browser, and you can even hit F11 to fullscreen your browser.

A subtitle is the text at the bottom of the screen in a movie. The purpose of a subtitle is usually to translate the movie dialogue from a language the viewer doesn't understand to one they do. Subtitles can also be helpful for people who for some reason have trouble following the dialogue in a movie.

Watching movies with subtitles

To watch DivX movies or XviD movies with subtitles you first need to install a DirectShow filter for Windows Media Player which is called DirectVobSub. To install DirectVobSub, follow these easy steps:

1) Download DirectVobSub
2) Run the exe-file to start the installation

After you've installed DirectVobSub on your system, Windows Media Player should be able to show subtitles in DivX and XviD movies. However, you will also need to download a separate subtitle file before you get subtitles in a movie. Once you've downloaded a subtitle for a movie you simply place it in the same folder as the DivX or XviD movie you want to watch. Then you have to make sure the filename of the movie and subtitle is the same. Otherwise you will have to rename the subtitle file, so the player understands that they are associated. Also make sure that the subtitle file has the ".sub" or ".srt" file-extension. Finally, you play the movie and hopefully you have subtitles in it.

n this tutorial you will be able to download files that have 250 MB and above. Lately megaupload put up a file size limit for non premium users, but now there is already fix for that.

Some of you may know this and some of you may not but megaupload.com currently shares the same servers as sexuploader.com

So this is all you need to do:

1) Use this link to try it out

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=06WEKE3B

2) Now all you need to do is use the link i gave you and replace it with:

http://www.sexuploader.com/?d=06WEKE3B

3) Now you are able to download bigger files from megaupload.com with this simple trick
