5 Star Member Group: Contributor Posts: 601 Joined: 14-September 07 Member No.: 136,176	im pretty sure this is the herewego release. and as there isnt a steam crack for it yet, either A: you wont be able to play it without launching steam meaning that you pretty much wont be able to play it or B: you can only play the single player. However, as that release is labeled as a "steam" release, im almost positive that it will require steam to launch, even for the single player. If you try to use this copy, i strongly recommend you use a fake steam account as you will prolly get banned. also, you will most certainly not be able to play the multiplayer as vac will shut ya down quickly. my personal recommendation is that you wait for either a better release or find a crack that bypasses steam so you can at least play the single player. and of course, all that is under the impression that this IS a steam version (being as i havent seen any other version released yet). good luck.

One thing I did notice though, the game tries to start at a resolution of 1600x1200 and my other monitor went black cause it wouldn't support it. If that happens you need to go into the config file and change it to something like 800x600 then once in you can change it to whatever you want.

Thanks I don't have that problem so it could be the pc.....It works for me,but the game will shut down after about 5 min of playing...which seems to be a 'normal' thing... I've played enough of it to buy it after Christmas though without feeling cheated like I have the last few games I've bought.
