Katie Fforde (born 1952) is an English novelist. She has lived near Stroud, Gloucestershire for over twenty years. She didn't start writing until she had moved there and had the third of her three children. Most of Katie’s experiences, however minor, tend to end up in her books. She was for many years a committee member of the Romantic Novelists' Association and is founder of the Katie Fforde Bursary for writers who have yet to secure a publishing contract.
