HARMONY/GHOST HUNTERS SERIES:

Late in the 21st century an energy Curtain opened in the vicinity of Earth, making interstellar travel practical for the first time. In typical human fashion, thousands of eager colonists packed up their stuff and lost no time heading out to create new homes and new societies on the unexplored worlds. Harmony was one of those worlds.
At first, things went well. The colonists brought with them all the comforts of home's sophisticated technology, centuries of art and literature and the latest fashions. Trade through the Curtain flourished and made it possible to stay in touch with families back on Earth. It also allowed the colonists to keep their computers and high-tech gadgets working.
And then one day, without warning, the Curtain closed, disappearing as mysteriously as it had opened. Cut off from Earth, no longer able to obtain the equipment and supplies needed to keep their high-tech lifestyle going, the colonists were abruptly thrown back to a far more primitive existence. Celinda Ingrams is the leading authority on Covenant Marriages, which are similar to old marriages of the ton really, people marrying for the advantage of both parties. Only, her matchmaking ended in trouble, so now she is flying low - or so she hopes. Her dust bunny convinces her she needs a toy, only the toy turns out to be something else entirely.
It's one of the relics left over by the mysterious alien race that once lived on Harmony. The relic was stolen from the Guild at Cadence, and the Guild boss is determined to see it fetched back. To the aim, he employs Davis Oakes to aid in it's return. Davis owns and runs Oakes security, but he is also a Ghost Hunter. He has rare talents, even for a ghost hunter, and also has secrets, both which he tries to keep under his hat.

Readers won't be surprised when his psi clicks with Celinda. Celinda is not too thrilled with the prospect, as all this brings her too close to the Guild again, which threatens to bring out all the old secrets she has been trying to avoid. As the pair becomes a target, they are force to join their psi talents in order to stay one step ahead of the person who will stop at nothing to possess the relic.

ARCANE SOCIETY SERIES:

The Arcane Society was founded in the late 1600s by a brilliant, reclusive, paranoid alchemist named Sylvester Jones. Jones possessed some unusual paranormal talents and he devoted his life to secret research in the field. He conducted his experiments and recorded the results in a fortress-like laboratory that eventually became his tomb.
The laboratory-tomb of Sylvester the Alchemist was finally discovered and excavated in the Late Victorian era by two of his descendants, Gabriel and Caleb Jones. The alchemist's most dangerous secret was a formula that Sylvester believed could enhance a person's psychic abilities and make the user extremely powerful. The stuff worked but, as Gabriel Jones learns in SECOND SIGHT, it produces some terrifying side effects.
Over the years the Arcane Society has gone to great lengths to conceal the secret of Sylvester's formula but it haunts the Society and the Jones family to this day.
The Society has other dark mysteries as well, among them an eerie collection of museums that house strange artifacts and relics linked to the arcane and the paranormal. There is also a research facility where studies and experiments involving psychic phenomena are carried out.
