I've noticed quite a few people are using this now and to be honest Iam following the instructions given and keep getting dead links. Anyone else ?

Nope, they all work fine for me. If one is truely dead then it is reported and checked by us divx mods and removed. I noticed you haven't bothered to give a link to test if this all on your end or not. So, can't really go much further. I can however tell you that people that aren't able to stream with Firefox on the Megaupload links are having better luck with IE.

I can vouch for Opera working fine as well. (IMG:http://static.quicksilverscreen.com/ipb/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

MV needs Javascript enabled for that site, for one thing.

Are you using Firefox with NoScript?

It seems this isn't the first issue you've had: http://ipb.quicksilverscreen.com/index.php...&pid=502289

can i get a confirmation that the megadivx link is working? Was working a charm the day before last- but now i am stuck on buffering- i have divx 7- just updated it a week or two ago. Tried it a couple of times, but no luck so far.

I appreciate the info- and the uploads- very much.

hmm... yup- done and done- also checked out about 5 different links- all with the same result... cleared the cache after each one-

wonder what i did to mess things up? as far as i know i haven't changed anything... must be on my end though... i'm going to try and figure this out- i friggin love that megadivx...

i'll leave these posts here for now, but you can move them if you wish... i'll be checking back here- and then i'll clear this thread of my questions and move it to the help section if i find what was wrong. trying not to clutter the thread.

also try other browsers. IE, FF, etc. seems to help when you get the error on one browser. give it a try on a diferent browser.

ok- i reinstalled Divx and got it to work in IE...

I know that brownee rocks the IE, but i hate that damn browser-

i have javascript enabled for the qss network, and i'm going to try and reinstall firefox to see if that changes things... any other ideas what could be causing the conflict with FF3?

all in all, I guess the Megadivx is worth it enough to put up with IE...

(IMG:http://static.quicksilverscreen.com/ipb/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) another IE convert. ha ha.

i think in FF it somehow screws with the cache settings. seems to be the issue but not 100% sure.

Or how about this, instead of using that damned IE, just get IETab for Firefox, and when you come across a MegaUpload Link you can do this...

Right click on the megaupload link and choose "open in IETab".... looks like this.

(IMG:http://i44.tinypic.com/2rq1tux.jpg)

It will open a new tab in firefox that is rendered with the IE engine. It's an awesome lil addon, that comes in handy when dealing with these "it works with this or it works with that". Now you can have it work in Firefox period.

yeah I use the IE Tab as well when the megaupload links don't wanna work in FF
Usually though, if it gets stuck buffering 0% I can just refresh the page in FF and it will load right up, but not always.
