About Margaret George
Margaret George was born in Nashville Tennessee. When not continuing research for her novels in such places as Egypt, Rome, Israel and England she lives with her husband in Madison, Wisconsin. She is the author of the bestselling novels The Autobiography of Henry VIII, Mary, Queen of Scotland and the Isles and The Memoirs of Cleopatra Bibliography: (titles in red are posted) Autobiography of Henry VIII: With Notes by His Fool, Will Somers (1986) Mary Queen of Scotland and the Isles (1992) The Memoirs of Cleopatra (1997) Mary, Called Magdalene (2002) Helen of Troy (2006) ___________________________________________________________ The Memoirs of Cleopatra (IMG:http://img519.imageshack.us/img519/9162/516r8pm0m1lsl500wh5.jpg) From Library Journal Cleopatra has captivated generations, and this huge novel will ensure additional adulation. Beginning with a memory at age three of witnessing her mother's death and ending with her own suicide, Cleopatra tells her story. Both the telling and the tale are exceptional. George combines history and legend with her own imagination to produce a fascinating portrait. Strangely, some of the more implausible events, such as Cleopatra's being hidden in a rug and taken to Caesar, are fact, not fiction. The graceful use of the language and the intense action make for compelling reading. Dorothy S. Golden, Georgia Southern Univ., Statesboro Copyright 1997 Reed Business Information, Inc. From AudioFile Passionate, mysterious Cleopatra VII of Egypt tells the story of her life and the history of Egypt during the lives of Julius Caesar and Marc Antony. Egyptian court intrigue, Roman politics and military campaigns are accurately recounted through the lively narration of Chelsea Adams. The lack of vocal characterizations is perfect for a first-person tale, particularly with all the changes in locale. Cleopatra's famous marriage to Julius Caesar and her love of Marc Antony are described by Cleopatra through George's imagination and Adams's sweet voice. George and Adams combine efforts to bring Cleopatra's famous story to life for the listener. 1.7GB - Mp3 - 192Kbps CODE http://rapidshare.com/files/122538836/TMoC_Part1.part1.rar

Helen of Troy
(IMG:http://img199.imageshack.us/img199/9901/helenk.jpg) Helen's noble Spartan parents try to defy the fates when a seer foretells the tragedy Helen and her legendary beauty will cause, but, as the myth of Helen demonstrates, destiny cannot be altered. Helen's years of seclusion in Sparta lead to a frigid marriage to Menelaus before she connects with Paris, the Trojan prince with whom she forges an inextricable bond. Barely into her 20s, Helen escapes with Paris to Troy, but finds the Trojan royals welcome her with less than open arms. The mythic war, which, in less capable hands, might be over-romanticized, is portrayed with an enthusiasm that rings true to the period without verging on stagy, no small feat when dealing with such a sweeping conflict. George's extraordinary storytelling abilities shine in her portrayal of Helen as both a conflicted woman who abandoned her homeland and child for true love, and as a legendary figure whose beauty and personal choices had epic consequences. 9 100mb-parts: CODE http://www.megaupload.com/?d=P67DNKHY

The Autobiography of Henry VIII
(IMG:http://img02.imagefra.me/img/img02/2/10/15/sonictrooper/f_e75o3m_1108c92.jpg) I first read this book when it originally was published and absolutely loved it. In fact, I recommended it to everyone I knew. I don't remember how I came upon it, but I was fascinated with the idea of learning more about Henry VIII in an entertaining way such as this. The length of this book is what makes it so much fun. Often when I find a good book, it's over way too soon. Not so with The Autobiography of Henry VIII. Additionally, I didn't know much about this King except what everyone knows--that he had two of his wives killed and that he was not an empathetic character. Not true. Being able to see things (albeit, this is fiction) from his point of view made him very empathetic. And, I learned that the people loved this King for much of his reign. Mary Queen of Scotland and the Isles
(IMG:http://img38.imageshack.us/img38/5156/marybs.jpg) Mary became Queen of Scotland only six days after her birth and by her 18th birthday she had been married, widowed, had lost one throne and been named by the Pope for another. Months later she set sail to take her place as queen of Scotland. This novel is a recreation of her life and times. Mary was but 25 years old when she left Scotland for the imagined sanctuary of her cousin Elizabeth I's England, there to remain captive until she was beheaded in 1587. George's new novel illuminates the passions of a woman whose birth generated glorious dreams, hideous treachery, and murder. CODE http://rapidshare.com/files/304065735/MG_MaryQOIsles.part1.rar
