I Capture The Castle, Based on Dodie Smith's novel of the same title Options

Based on Dodie Smith's novel of the same title, the film tells a story of a 17-year-old girl Cassandra Mortmain and her eccentric family struggling to survive in a decaying English castle. Enter an American landlord Simon Cotton and his brother Neil, and suddenly Cassandra is left on the sidelines as everyone around her is drawn into a maelstrom of interconnected relationships.

This film, I thought, was quite well done (but do read the book - it's wonderful!). I loved the actors (Romola and Rose), the cinematography, costumes, and the beautiful music by Dario Marianelli.

Starring Romola Garai as Cassandra Mortmain, Henry Thomas as Simon Cotton, Rose Byrne as Rose Mortmain, Bill Nighy as James Mortmain, Tara Fitzgerald as Topaz Mortmain, Marc Blucas as Neil Cotton, and (gorgeous) Henry Cavill as Stephen Colley.
