you can still download from vreel without installing zango this way by getting the download link from the embed code

Thanx Apex, Great Point. That was gonna be my next suggestion. Didnt Vreel say this was just a trial run at this? lets hope they go back to their old format. I literally despise Zango, I had a very bad experience with them when they first introduced themselves to the net. A buddy of mine installed it on his laptop, thinking it was a great new video site...long story short, it crashed his laptop, to the point where nothing was recoverable, and he had to do a clean install

youd be better off playing vids through the VLC Media Player, its a free download from www.videolan.org ive found it plays everything great, and it has alot of features to it

i agree, excellent method. But i don't know what you, Apex, mean by saving it. When i paste the link into my browser, i click go and the video shows up as a quicktime movie. So what do u mean by save?

Do you use firefox?
If so, you need to go to your options (click Tools from the menu and select Options), then click the Content tab. At the bottom there's a section for managing your File Types, click the manage button and look for 'AVI' in the list, select it and then click the Change Action button and change from Quicktime plugin to Save to Disk.

I found this user script for greasmonkey that supposedly removes the Zango ad. Someone try it out and tell us if its a go.

Yeah, me either. I'm glad its just a simple fix to turn off java. Its funny though, all the other sites I've seen with Zango all you had to do was click cancel and go on about your business. This is the first time I've seen any redirect and not being able to go ahead and view the site. They've upped the ante.

Just so everybody knows this is what you need to block with your AdBlockPlus filter.

CODE
http://prompt.zangocash.com/pog/022cabefb4.js

If you do that you don't have to turn off java and you won't ever see the zango popup.

Thats easy, Use Firefox, Once you open the page and that Zango Shit appears Go to the Menu of Firefox To VIEW then To PAGE STYLE Then Choose NO STYLE, This way You will love the Page with no HTML Setup, look For The Little Screen Where The Movie Is, Pas the mouse Over The Window and a little box Will show, Click Play and Enjoy, The Window of the Movie is very little so Doble Click it to Full Screen. After its done Loaded. Right Click the Movie and if you Want tO, you Can Save The movie to ur PC, By Clicking SAVE THIS MOVIE AS:. Foward This to all the people who was problems with That zango ShiT.!!
