i am having problems with divx and zshare,
1st divx,no divx movie will work for me none,eg ben thats just one,its stuck on connecting but when i try close it,it crashes my firefox browser,
2nd zshare,as soon as i click a zshare link it freezes the page and crashes,

i ve tried using explorer but now explorer wont even open its stuck on connecting i also can;t close the blank explorer page,go to task manager and end task.
i;ve never had a problem before but recently i installed clean my pc and done a clean and now i am screwed,
all help welcome,

versions
firefox 2.0.0.16
windows xp service pack 3

just noticed i don;t even have to press play as soon as i go to a divx page or zshare browser crashes

You could try uninstalling and reinstalling divx to see if it's the divx player or the browser that's having the problem
As for zshare, do the same for WMP Firefox Plugin

If after reinstalling you still have crashes, try uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox or upgrading to Firefox 3.

greeniz turned up, good...

1. Uninstall/reinstall divx bundle, test, then determine if browser is the issue.

2. If browser is gooped up, uninstall/reinstall FF 2.0.0.16.

its most likely a divx problem, as ive had this happen (albeit VERY rarely), and im already on FF3

uninstalled divx bundle reinstalled,supernova link working,the link to ben i gave i am getting the divx player could not download the video,please check your internet connection,thanks so far.wmp plugin worked great,i love this place,genius.all of use.now firefox is there any harm in staying with the one i have.

As already said, nothing wrong at all with FF2.
The Ben link works fine for me, buffers to 100% right away and plays fine. So you may still have a divx issue, but hopefully it was just a temporary thing with that link or a need to clear the cache.
If you continue to have problems with divx errors let us know.

and if you dont know how to clear the cache, right the vid screen>>>preferences>>>download cache>>>clear cache now (at the bottom)

Same thing happens to me guys. I thought it a Vista problem at first but it seems it's not now.

I've downloaded the latest Divx bubdle and still when I even try to go to the site my browser crashes.. any ideas please? (IMG:http://static.quicksilverscreen.com/ipb/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

try it again,i did and it worked fine actually better than ever,same with veoh took 5or6 uninstalls/reinstalls to work.
versions i have
divx player 6.8.2
divx codec 6.8.4
convertor 6.6.1

firefox 2.0.0.16

I did all mate, still crashes everytime I try to watch a Divx movie, or when I try to enter the site.

try disabling your addons first,if it doesn;t
try an older version of divx divx old versions

Divx
Is also crashing my FF
Ihave tryed many of the sugestions before posting this
and up graded to FF 3 Witch also dosent work for me
and would like a Link to get FF2 back
Divx dose however work fine on IE
just a pian swithing over to watch a divx movie as I use FF 99% of the time
