General Information
Makers: Gamerman, OCDSTEVE, and the Warezdemon, THE SPLIT PERSONALITY BLACK
XP TEAM.
Type.................: BLACK XP 5.0 FINAL (rtp)*
Platform.............: Windows 9x/ME/2000/XP/2003/Vista
Image Format.........:.iso
Screen one, the only part that is not automatic is you
choose which partition to use and hit delete partition, then hit Create
Partition and choose quick format, then it's all automatic right upto first
menu 
This is the windows setup window you will see, please let it install as it's not frozen,
it just take anywhere from 15 to 25 minutes depending on your hardware capabilitiy
This is the shell and launch bar configuration menu, you can choose to let it install all
components which are needed for full Black XP, or you can choose none and you
will have An original untouched Student Corp XP. It will then reboot into Black XP Full 
ALL APPS ARE FULL VERSIONS FROM ISOs ETC, no portables or lite versions here.

I use both NERO and Alcohol 120% to mount/burn to DVD. Both worked.

There is a problem with DVD 2 part 42. I have downloaded all parts and have found other problem. I am asking that this post be removed and hopefully the corruped file will be fixed. Sorry to all that have started or have just started the downloads.

This was released 04.Dec.2007 and the XP lite DVD is made from the first and second DVD with just the basic of basic needs. It may have the same name as posted by apex but was put together by a group and friends of the Black XP forum. The group wants to make a easy to install OS and set it up so that the installer has the choice of what is installed, not MS. Hope this helps. I will be posting some interesting OS (XP-Vista) soon. I need to try them first. I have Black XP 4.5 from The Black XP Group on one of my systems and it was easy to install but I have not fully downloaded this one yet.

How woudl this process work? and if i screwed up in one way or another what risks would there be?

It can be maddening if you have never done this before. Apex, fig1, and tomy have had step by step instructions before on QSS. I do it a lot but on clean hard-drives. When I have had to do it with one of my systems I always backup on disk everything that I want to keep. I am still down loading this OS so I don't know if it has a boot-fomat on it. The best thing I can tell you to do is PM tomy for his past posts or do a search on formatting hard drives, partitioned dives, and installing OS's. I will see if I can find an E download on system setup for you.

Thanks for this awesome post.......There seems to be a problem Though.....when I Try to unrar DVD 2 I get a "corrupt File " Message..........I tried to Repair the archive and It said "Suspicious entry Found....do you want to add to archive ....Of course I didnt....So you might want to check this out before using.......Thanks

The problem is on disk 42 of DVD 2. I am checking with others to see what program it is. Did you try the Mega site instead of RS. I don't think it will make a differance though. Sorry for this and hope to get an update soon.

The other 6 series versions were not final code and contain annoyances

Hmm i've got no clue. I'll dig around to see if there IS one cause that'd be a lot easier than just downloading a billion links. Also, is it just me or is filefactory a little more strict now? Before, i was able to download about 5 links at a time before it told me that i cannot have multiple downloads. Now it just takes one which is going to take me awhile to finish this now but meh

AHHH i hated this >.> it occupied 8 gigs of my hdd for awhile because i couldn't get my hands on a DVD DL I ended up deleting it I think the makers of Black XP stopped working on it because there were too many errors or something? Should still be a fine os though ^^

when you can download just the os in the cd version then download the programs you want and will use

General Information
Welcome to the most polished and perfected build yet.
I personally have been getting this build ready for a month and have installed it through
8 revisions on my main pc and thoroughly got to test all aspects in real time Vs Vmware
tests of which I've installed the test builds around 50 times now.
All apps are the latest but I have included a section for older applications to go that
are at least 1 build or more older than the latest as they are good apps or they
are discontinued like Sygate firewall which I use as its the best firewall for my purposes.
I have updated all apps to release day versions and all pre cracked, patched or regged except
for ESET products as the login fix seems to change all the time.
